A standardized training program to prevent the use of restraints and seclusion created by DMH/DD/SAS and used in all state facilities. Part A, Part B, Core and Core Plus Interventions Technique for dealing with agitated and/or violent clients.
Target Audience: Anyone who works in DMH/DD/SAS state-approved facilities. Three levels of training are available:
Prevention: doesnot include physical interventions - approximately 2 hours Core: includes non-restraining interventions - approximately 4 hours Core+: includes restraints- approximately 8 hours
Certificate upon successful completion.
Prevention: $40/ person Core: $50/person Core+ $65/person
